Daddy chose an unexpected place to celebrate his birthday this year; Chuck E Cheese's. The minute he told mommy, she immediately conjured up memories of numerous cheesy eighties birthday parties, where she always went home confused as to why so many tickets only bought her a tiny little eraser. However, being daddy's birthday, I found it sweet that he was more interested in doing something out of the norm for his little girl. Elise had fun, for the most part, and was thrilled that her huge pile of tickets bought her the tiny little frog eraser she so desperately wanted, which I guarantee was bought in gross from Oriental Trading Company. I'm assuming it maybe cost around $0.05, but that number could be generous. Looks like things haven't changed much since the eighties. Anyway, all that matters is that she loved that darn frog eraser, and refused to put it down for the rest of the evening. It doesn't take much to win over a toddler!
