Our sweet little girl, Elise, turned 3-years-old on June 28, 2012! We celebrated her third birthday on June 23rd, and she had the greatest time ever. Naturally, Elise chose her party theme this year, and wanted to have a "Tangled" birthday party. Yes, Rapunzel has replaced Tinkerbell as number one in her heart. She watches the movie Tangled all the time, knows all the characters, and the words to every song. She has asked to be Rapunzel for Halloween this year and she also wants to grow her hair just as long. She thinks by Halloween it will probably be almost as long, because in her words, "that is a really, really long time away" :) Of course, as her momma I had to make her happy and throw her an amazing Tangled party. It was quite fun planning this one and I really enjoyed decorating, making her banner with grandma, and planning ideas for the cute birthday cake. We also got a castle bounce house, with water slide, for the kiddos this year. They all really enjoyed it!
Elise is so cute because she always has the absolute biggest smile on her face when everyone sings her happy birthday. This year was no different. She loved hearing everyone sing and was thrilled with her Tangled birthday cake. Hooray, for a job well done! We are so in love with our big three-year-old sweetheart. I'm glad she had such and amazing time at her birthday, and a huge thank you to all our wonderful family and friends for being there to bring her even more joy and excitement. Happy Birthday Elise!
