Elise celebrated her second Halloween this year. We dressed her up as a little fairy princess; a costume that was decided on since it was one of the few options she couldn't attempt to escape from! As expected, she refused to wear the matching headpiece and bow, but she did carry her wand and pumpkin treat bag almost the entire evening. She went trick-or-treating with her little friend Zuri, and they had a great time. At each door, she would shove out her treat bag expecting goodies and then say, "trick-or-treat, thank you, or bye-bye" after the doors closed, which we all found amusing. Afterwards she would point to her bag and say, "candy" with a huge grin. We stayed out for over an hour and she did great. We look forward to next year, as we have a great little trick-or-treater and budding Halloween affectionado on our hands!
