We "decked the halls" (aka decorated for Christmas) this past Sunday and I must say Christmas is a million times more fun with a two-and-a-half year old/highly excitable kiddo around. Elise enjoyed unwrapping all the Christmas ornaments and then instructing mommy and daddy on where to hang each and every one. Of course, she made sure to hang as many as she could on her own. She is extremely excited for Christmas this year and already has a list of items she wants Santa to bring her: princess shoes, a princess castle, a "girl" potato head, Play-doh, a jewelry box and lots of Tinkerbell stuff - and the list grows each day.

After dressing up the tree and decorating the house, we took some much needed relaxation time and had a nice warm winter fire. I love winter time, because I look forward to cuddling by the fireplace with the kids. This year is extra special, since we have our adorable little baby Alina to snuggle up with. She is quite the cuddler! She's not squirmy at all and will just sit happily in our arms or lap until we are ready to lay her down. We are VERY excited to celebrate Alina's first Christmas this year. Having little ones of our own, makes this time of year feel even more magical than it did when we were young!

Moments like these are the BEST. We love our cuddly baby!
